Dear Mr. Keuftedjian,
I would like to take this time to share with you some of our experiences since installing the Pursanova water system for use in our crop spraying operations. As you know our system includes two 1" disks on the inlet side a PN40 tube prior to the RO machine and another PN40 on a circulating pump that runs as the holding tank is filling from the RO machine.
Using water that has been activated through the Pursanova tubes has allowed us to reduce water volume used by 80% or more from 20 gallons per acre to as little as 3.2 GPD. We average between 3.2gpa and 4.5gpa in our herbicide applications, running 20mph with 120' wide sprayer booms we can easily exceed 200 acres covered per hour. Cutting the water volume alone is a huge economic benefit, I do not need additional manpower or a tender truck hauling water to the field to keep the sprayer working efficiently. Spraying has become a one-man operation on our farm.
The Pursanova system has allowed us to cut both fertilizer and herbicide rates as well. We have used as little as 8oz. per acre of Roundup herbicide in a 3.2 GPA volume to control noxious weeds on our farm. That is 12.5% of the rate used by some farmers in our area and we have better weed control on our farm. We routinely cut herbicide rates by a minimum of 20% to as much as 60% depending on many factors at the time of application. We also find saving when applying foliar fertilizers, with Pursanova activated water we get the same or better with 50% of the fertilizer volume and 25% of the water volume compared to conventional applications.
In short, we have seen the results and could not be more pleased. The total cost of our Pursanova system was returned in cost savings the first year it was installed.
